Adventist Health Sonora Volunteers
Description
Our group of volunteers began in 1966 at what was the Sierra Hospital and continues through changes to Sonora Community, Sonora Regional Medical Center to what is now Adventist Health Sonora. While volunteering at Adventist Health you can enrich your life with new experiences, new friends and possibly even new skills. More importantly, you will make a significant contribution to patient care and to the community in which you live. Volunteers are a huge factor in the public relations of any hospital. We represent the community to Adventist Health and Adventist Health to our community.
Volunteer Needs:
Our positions range from:
- Shuttle drivers
- Gift shop workers
- Office help
- Reception at the front desk and waiting areas
- Creating holiday favors for patients and residents in our long-term care facility.
The opportunities to help in our community through volunteering are so many that whatever your interests and skills are, we are sure we can find a place for you.
