Honoring Mother Earth Celebration Volunteer Day

The volunteer day is part of our annual 2-day Honoring Mother Earth Celebration Event. In collaboration with Tuolumne River Trust, the volunteer event is aimed at removing the invasive yellow flag iris from Woods Creek. Volunteers will be participating in tasks such as digging up the root systems, plucking flowers so they don’t spread seeds, and bagging and transporting plants for disposal. Volunteers also have the option of participating in trash pickup & tobacco waste removal from the park.
