Amador Tuolumne Community Action Agency (ATCAA)
Description
About:
ATCAA promotes the economic security, self-sufficiency and the well-being of families and individuals by providing for basic human needs through direct assistance and community collaborations with the belief that all people deserve the opportunity to thrive.
ATCAA serves the low-income community with a number of programs including the Food Bank, Housing Assistance, Utility Bill Assistance, Weatherization Services, Head Start and Early Head Start, Free Tax Preparation Services, Financial Literacy Classes, and so much more. We're seeking volunteers for our Food Bank and the Tax Assistance Program.
Volunteer Needs:
Tasks at the Food Bank can range from bagging food, sorting food, administrative work, and general help around the warehouse. We're accommodating and work with the unique needs of each volunteer to find the tasks that suit them best.
For the Tax Program, we have volunteers who prepare taxes, schedule appointments, assist with administrative work, and more.
