The American Red Cross is established throughout the country, but we have a Disaster Team that specifically serves Tuolumne, Calaveras, and Amador Counties.

Please consider joining us! Our compassionate volunteers support families and individuals impacted by large-scale natural disasters or local home fires. Additionally, we help others to prepare for and prevent disasters by providing education and installing free smoke alarms in homes throughout the community.

Volunteer Tasks:

- We provide needed training!
- We have in-person and remote positions
- We have daytime, evening, night, and weekend shifts
- Your skills are needed working with clients one-on-one, teaching in the community, or supporting multiple administrative roles

We are also seeking health and spiritual professionals to support our disaster response!

- Active or retired licensed nurses
- Active or retired licensed mental health professionals
- Pastors and chaplains
