ATCAA Food Bank
Description
We solicit, transport, warehouse and distribute food throughout the county and provide food to over 15 partner pantries. As well as serve our eligible community clientele supplemental foods though our programs and partner programs.
Our Programs are:
Farmers Market - first Wednesday of each month - 7 locations
EFAP (=Government Commodities) - 18 Locations
Food for Kids - weekly - 10 schools
Senior Program - 3 locations
Mobile Distributions - 4 locations
Holiday Baskets - 1 location - 2 times a year
Volunteer Tasks:
Sorting and bagging produce
Driving foods to some of our medical needs delivery
Driving our food for kids bags to schools
Packing our food for kids bags weekly
Site hosting at distribution sites
Site assisting at distribution sites
Weekly food pick up in Manteca utilizing our International refrigerated truck - no special license required, but familiar with big truck driving
