About

Mother Lode Wildlife Care is an all volunteer non-profit public 501 (c)(3) organization dedicated to the care and rehabilitation of injured/orphaned wildlife in Tuolumne and nearby counties.  We are permitted with CA Fish & Wildlife and US Fish & Wildlife to care for most native bird species such as songbirds, hawks and owls and small mammals such as squirrels and foxes.  Our goal is to release these animals back into the appropriate habitat capable of surviving on their own.

Volunteer Needs:

Cleaning, feeding, animal care, cage construction and maintenance, newsletter, grant writing, fundraising, board member
