Soroptimist International of Twain Harte

About:

Soroptimist is a an international women's organization that focuses on making life better for women and girls.  The program focuses on education, economic empowerment and safety issues for women and girls.

Our two major projects are Live your Dream a grant program for women that are head of household, returning to school to make their life and that of their children better.

The second program is Dream it Be it where professional women from our community volunteer to be mentors for freshman and Sophomore high school girls to answer their questions about the education and experiences related to the professions the students are interested in.

Our 2 Major fund raisers are a La Carte and the Crab feed.   A la Carte is a food and wine tasting in September and the Crab feed on the Saturday before Martin Luther King’s Birthday.

Volunteer Needs:

Our programs and fundraising. We meet on the second and third Tuesdays of the month.
