USDA Forest Service, Stanislaus National Forest

Description

About:

With 78 lakes, 811 miles of streams and rivers, and more than 1,000 miles of hiking trails, the 898,000 acre Stanislaus National Forest is the perfect destination for whatever your next adventure may be. Whether it's spending time on the lake, hiking through the forest, camping on the land, or volunteering to work with us, the Stanislaus National Forest is here for you!

Volunteer Needs:

The Stanislaus National Forest utilizes volunteers for all sorts of activities and projects. From archiving files and assisting with our front desks to clearing trails and planting trees, the Stanislaus National Forest has it all. There is a large need for volunteer work in our campgrounds, recreation sites, and trails for the 2025 and 2026 seasons, but there are a variety of options when it comes to volunteering on a national forest and we're sure there is something that will spark your interest.
