DESCRIPTION:The fourth annual Honoring Mother Earth Celebration is back! Co-hosted by Chicken Ranch Rancheria & Tuolumne Band of Me-Wuk Indians\, the celebration brings the community together to share knowledge\, celebrate culture\, and highlight environmental stewardship throughout the region. The two-day event will feature a volunteer work day to continue our efforts of cleaning up and removing Yellow Flag Iris at Woods Creek Rotary Park\, followed by a celebration event featuring traditional dance\, drumming\, and storytelling. Join us for a weekend of sharing\, community\, and celebration of our planet and all its wonders!

DESCRIPTION:We are looking for help replanting forests burned in the Rim wildfire. This fire burned over 250\,000 acres across Tuolumne and Mariposa counties in 2013\, devastating forest and meadow habitats in the area.
