Our Senior Volunteer Program provides senior adult men and women the opportunity to volunteer their time to assist CHP employees in the performance of their duties. Those services include: Teach driver safety to seniors in the community, direct traffic at special events, work with local schools, assist with the front office and participate in ride-alongs with CHP officers.

KAAD-LP is a non-profit, all-volunteer community radio station that has been broadcasting since early 2017. We are supported by individual contributors, grants and underwriting/sponsorships. We are designated by the FCC as a low-power station, which means our signal is mainly heard in Sonora at 103.5FM, with some spillover to Jamestown and Columbia. Therefore, the bulk of our listeners find us on the internet streaming at kaad-lp.org.

Mother Lode Food Project

The Mother Lode Food Project is a completely volunteer run organization that works to ensure local food banks have a consistent supply of donations throughout the year, not just during holidays. Every even month, volunteers drop off a grocery bag full of food at one of many drop-off points throughout Tuolumne, and neighborhood coordinators then deliver those bags to the ATCAA food bank. ATCAA then distributes the food to many different organizations and populations. The goal is to make participation and distribution as easy as possible for everybody.
