The Sierra Care Center Unit s 6 and 7 are skilled nursing facilities near downtown Sonora with up to 68 long-term care residents.

Volunteer Tasks:

Volunteers help foster a warm and vibrant community within our facility by assisting with activities including:

• Arts and crafts
• Music sessions
• Pet and animal interactions

Examples of past volunteer activities include interactive llama visits, Hawaiian luaus, deliveries
of handmade cards from school children and music performed by high school students.
