About:

The Sonora Salvation Army uses volunteers to help with the annual Red Kettle Drive, where we set up a tripod with a kettle and a volunteer in front of Walmart, Lower Save Mart, Twain Harte Mkt and the Junction. The volunteer will ring a bell to alert shoppers of the fund raiser. The donation money is used to help assist Tuolumne County residents with past due water and propane bills, gas cards for appointments, youth camp enrollment, fire wood for seniors, special food needs and emergency assistance.

Volunteer Needs:

To man a tripod with a red kettle and ring a bell to alert shoppers of the fund raiser.

The shifts are 2 hours between 10-4 Sun, Mon, Tues, Fri, Sat and Sun.
