The Sonora CHP is responsible for enforcing the rules of the road within Tuolumne County. Although, our officers play an important role in the office, we also depend on our volunteers to help with other duties.

Volunteer Tasks:

Office suites- filing paperwork, answer phones, help customers at the lobby window, assist our road officers when needed

We have a senior volunteer program and an explorer program
