Mission:

California State Railroad Museum Foundation (CSRMF) provides funding for ongoing support of numerous programs at Old Sacramento and Railtown 1897. CSRMF mission is to generate revenue and awareness on behalf of its destinations, while supporting the preservation, interpretation, and promotion of our Railroad heritage. Polar Express is our largest fundraiser to support the rolling stock available for our guest.

Volunteer Needs:

For the Polar Express we need: volunteers onboard the trains: cocoa pourers, chefs, cocoa runners, narrator’s, polar assistants

Off board we need: cocoa prep, ticket agents, line monitors, polar assistants, hospitality, preboard, crossing guards, and parking assistants, and Santa Elves.

It is really a magical time at Railtown, and you can feel it in the air. It is really a rewarding experience.
