Lions Serve.  When caring people join together, roll up their sleeves and take action to make our community better, it's a beautiful thing-and an incredible feeling for everyone involved.  That's Lions.  Being a Lion is about leading by example, building relationships and improving the world through kindness.  It's 1.4 million caring men and women serving together so they can make a lasting impact and change more lives.

Volunteer Tasks:

• Bundle Dog and Cat food for Meals on Wheels Pet Food Project
• Help with Read to Succeed Literacy Program for children
• Collect eyeglasses and Hearing Aids for Sight and Hearing Programs
• Review Scholarship applications for educational advancement at Columbia College
• Help spread the word about Hospital Equipment Lending Program
• Assist with ATCCA Green Bag Food Collection
• Fund raising activities, Lobster Dinner, Omelette breakfast, Pancake breakfast, Crab Cioppino dinner
• Assist with the Glenn Bass Run that benefits track and field students
• Assist with Student Speaker Contest that promotes thought provoking ideas and communication of same from our students
• Participate in community projects:
  • highway clean up
  • Christmas tree decoration and card delivery
  • Thanksgiving turkey collection
  • wheelbarrow raffles
  • seasonal projects, as needed, that reflect our community needs.
