Summerville High School Foundation

Mission:

The Summerville HS Foundation was founded in 2003. We enhance education by providing support in the Arts, Academics and Athletics in the Summerville Union High School District. We fund a lively Bear Grant Application process that any staff member at Summerville may apply for throughout the school year. Basically, we raise funds that lift up the education experience for Summerville students so that they are ready to function well in the wider world when they graduate.

Volunteer Needs:

We are staging our 2nd “Calling All Bears, All Years Reunion” this coming fall and need volunteers to
help at the 2-day event. We won’t have a firm date until May 2026 because it happens the weekend before the Homecoming Week celebration.
We are looking for helpers at the two-day event in the park in downtown Tuolumne.
Saturday is the big parade, Mark Corona is our parade announcer:

1. Need floats from other organizations
2. Convertibles
3. Classic and Antique cars
4. Face painter
5. Children’s clown/story teller
