Tuolumne Me-Wuk Indian Health Center

Tuolumne Me-Wuk Indian Health Center offers personalized, comprehensive, high-quality health care that focuses on wellness and prevention to ALL members of our community. As a Patient Centered Medical Facility, we provide a full range of primary care, dental, behavioral health, wellness and illness prevention services. We focus on holistic practices, health education and Native American values that concentrate on healing for the whole family. In short-we like to treat the whole person, not just the illness. Our New Outreach Program offers not only patients but the entire community help with finding various resources they may need and help them make direct connections with those resources. The Outreach Program also helps anyone in the community with enrolling in insurance including Medi-Cal and Covered CA.

Volunteer Needs:

We are looking for volunteers to help with various Outreach events and help at our clinics to greet patients, direct them to our community resources, help them navigate on our patient portal and update their information. We are dedicated to the community for Enhanced Care Management and our volunteer person would be an intricate part in helping with this.
